ODEC partners with your local electric cooperative and local weatherization agencies to provide weatherization assistance to income-eligible households through WAP (Weatherization Assistance Program).
Weatherization reduces energy use through installation of cost-effective energy saving measures as well as improving residents’ comfort and safety. Improvements include air sealing, insulation and leak repairs, efficient lighting and appliances and ventilation upgrades.
This program is currently available to members of all 11 of ODEC’s member distribution cooperatives.
These efforts to reduce energy use and demand help ODEC achieve its goals of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon intensity reductions for its members, while providing improved comfort of their homes.
