Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) and FLIPP Inc. today announced a new $100,000 grant from Microsoft Corporation to provide free energy-saving upgrades to Southern Virginia residents in manufactured and mobile homes through ODEC’s Manufactured Homes Program.
The grant was awarded to FLIPP, an ODEC partner organization that supports ODEC’s Manufactured Homes Program and brings expertise in energy audits and home weatherization. The funding will help accelerate the delivery of energy efficiency and weatherization improvements for manufactured home residents in Southern Virginia, and impact of ongoing efforts to improve home comfort, affordability, and energy savings.
