Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) is pleased to announce that Alison Kaufmann, Vice President of Strategic Electrification and Member Services, has been appointed chair of the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development’s (DHCD) Energy Efficiency and Weatherization Task Force. The task force was established in 2026 by the General Assembly to identify barriers to participation in energy efficiency programs and develop recommendations to expand access to weatherization and energy-saving improvements for income-qualified Virginians.
As chair, Kaufmann is a part of a diverse group of stakeholders tasked with advancing strategies that improve access to energy efficiency programs, coordinating resources more effectively and supporting weatherization-ready repairs and whole-home energy efficiency retrofits across the Commonwealth.
