Statement on COVID-19

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is presenting unprecedented challenges for each of us.  At Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC), the health and safety of our members, our communities, and our employees is always our  highest priority.

As, we continue to monitor the situation closely, we have taken the steps of having our employees work remotely (those whose positions allow them to do so), and suspending all business travel.  We are following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, with the goal of protecting ourselves and others.

Please be assured that as circumstances continue to develop, we will make decisions with the highest regard for the health and well-being of our members and employees.
We are committed to keeping our generation facilities up and running, and we have made the necessary provisions to continue providing power to our members.  We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.  Our commitment to providing our member-owners with safe, affordable, reliable and sustainable power will not diminish, even in the face of this challenging circumstance.
