Chris Cosby Announced as ODEC’s Next CEO

John C. Lee, president and CEO of Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) has announced his retirement effective February 1, after over thirty years of dedicated service to ODEC and its members. While retiring from the president and CEO position, Lee will continue to serve ODEC in the role of senior advisor.

The ODEC Board of Directors has selected Chris Cosby as the cooperative’s next president and chief executive officer, effective February 1, 2025. Cosby currently serves as chief operating officer of ODEC and previously served as senior vice president of power supply, director of asset management, focusing on ODEC’s jointly owned generation assets, and as vice president of regulatory affairs since joining ODEC in 2018.
